Longer term access

Gate access from boundary properties

Gate access from boundary properties

The cooperation of some residents of The Avenue was required in 1971 when Woodlands Lane was built. Those properties were given vehicle access, in perpetuity, in return.

While those commitments will continue to be honoured by the Woodlands Lane Residents Association, we do not intend to offer any further access rights to properties on The Avenue or Underwood Road.

We are aware that some non-residents have installed gates at the rear of their properties which provide access to these common areas. Since non-residents living in boundary properties do not have any right of access to Woodlands Lane, we politely request that no further gates are installed and discourage the use of those that are already in place.

If you are not a resident of Woodlands Lane but would like to discuss access, please contact the chairman who will bring the matter to the committee
